CCHS is not just where I received my own education, and it isn’t just my employer. It’s where I grew in my relationship with God and found lifelong friends. And now, it’s where I get to share the God I love with the students that I love.
George Tsourdinis, Class of 2013
"STEM careers are constantly surging in demand … advanced medicine, space travel, coding, artificial intelligence and technologies that seem like science fiction. My roots in STEM knowledge still lay planted in the fertile grounds of CCHS." - George is a 3rd-year student in medical school at the University of IL, College of Medicine
Mike Drury, Principal
We are committed to reaching across boundaries of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, and politics by fostering relationships and acting in love… by serving others, we see our small acts create ripple effects in our communities.
Nadia Howse, Class of 2014
CCHS taught me many valuable lessons, but one that constantly sticks with me is to let nothing separate me from God’s love. It makes working hard and not-giving up, so much easier … It makes surrendering my will to do God’s will possible. - Nadia Howse, Founder of Nadia's Howse of Hope, Behavior Therapist at North Shore Pediatric Therapy
Sydnie Tiemens, Class of 2016
At CCHS, I was involved in the yearbook and senior activities. These taught me a lot about time management and how to work with others that didn’t share my opinions. The leadership skills I learned at CCHS helped me transition to college and opened doors to be an RA and a campus tour guide. (Sydnie is currently a senior at Trinity Christian College and she is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.)
